I’m having a tough time understanding when one can actually smoke without repercussions. Is there just a lag in legislation to protect someone who uses without a medical card?
*Employers can drug test you and fire you for a positive test even if you’re never under the influence on premises.
*You can be tested and charged with DUI even if not under the influence due to metabolizing rate in your system.
So basically you can legally possess marijuana, but if you smoke it you’re still liable for repercussions. Perhaps there’s a bunch of employers who don’t care, but mass majority are still enforcing a “drug free” workplace.
Will this be the case until it’s legalized federally?
