I was curious as to whether anybody on this sub is a legal medical marijuana card-holder that also owns guns. I live in a state where only medical marijuana is legal and would really like to get a card, however I own several guns and don’t want to put myself at risk for having my guns confiscated.
I was doing some reading about this Rohrabacher-Farr amendment that passed several years ago, which seems to indicate that the federal government doesn’t prosecute medical marijuana or can’t I guess. That being said I’m still cagey about putting my name on a state-level list of medical marijuana users while I own guns.
Anyone care to weigh in on this? I know that this isn’t the right place to turn to for legal advice, I’m just wondering what the reddit community thinks, I know a lot of you probably are better at internet research than I am.
