NY pre-employment drug testing with medical card, with a medical card in my name for legitimate reasons for having it can I still be denied a job because of it?

I have been looking into jobs in NY state and I wanted to find out from anyone that might have experience or knowledge about how it can affect me having marijuana in my urine even tho I’m a medical card holder.
